Tayla is highly motivated and prides herself on working with a health and safety focused approach, attention to detail and applies practical knowledge to tasks.
Tayla started her career working as a road inspector on the Central Waikato NOC, responsible for identifying faults and proposing maintenance treatments. Tayla soon showed a passion for TTM and road safety working closely with the TMC, Network Controls Manager and Road Safety Manager. Tayla is currently the TMC for Taupō DC approving all Corridor Access Requests and liaising with stakeholders to coordinate works and events around the Taupō district. Tayla also assists with road safety reviews, audits and has previously assisted with investigating several fatal and serious crashes along with attending the hot scenes.
It is this practical hands-on experience which allows Tayla to apply theory to practice.
Director | Road Safety
Ashley has worked in both the UK and New Zealand predominantly in the field of Road Safety. Earlier in Ashley’s career he worked closely with Government Agencies in the UK giving strategic level policy advice along with working on major projects as a site engineer and design reviewer.
After moving to New Zealand in 2019 Ashley worked predominantly on Central Waikato NOC working as the Road Safety Engineer which saw Ashley investigate and attend the hot scene of over 50 fatal and serious crashes. Ashley also managed the consulting team on the contract which consisted of, Road Inspectors, TMCs, Asset Information Managers and Asset Manager. As well as delivering Road Safety Ashley assisted delivery on other NOC contracts and took a lead role in SCRIM and IL reviews.
Ashley enjoys solving complex problems along with finding efficiencies in process. Ashley prides himself on being able to apply theory in a practical manner for clients.
